This book is very good. It keeps you interested. The storyline is very good. It has strong vocabulary but it isn’t difficult to understand. I sugguest teenage girls or even boys read this story.

Welcome to the Edwards Library’s blog !
We’re excited about this new venture, and hope that you visit often to see what great events are happening at the library as our exciting Southampton Reads, the community reading program begins. And that you will take part in this blog as well!
We hope you are reading this year’s book, “Water Witches” by Chris Bohjalian, but whether you are able to or not, we hope you will attend some of the wonderful events happening in April and May. We were very fortunate to receive the grant that allows us to do our first Southampton Reads and it will be a lot of fun. The author will even be coming to Southampton, a great honor.
This Thursday night, April 10 at 6:30, is the kick-off event, with noted naturalist, artist, musician and historian Claire Dacey presenting the tale of Southampton, from it’s very beginnings. Southampton has an amazing history, of early settlement, Native Americans, interesting citizens and businesses and much that has been lost to time.
We hope you can come to this and to many of the other programs. You can check this blog for program details or at southamptonlibrary.org or check the flier you received in the mail.

And please post often, by leaving us comments about what you saw, learned, thought about, or just enjoyed, because we do see this as an interactive blog, one that involves everyone, kids and adults, who comes to the Library.

And don’t forget that on Saturday, April 12 at 10 am, Susan Spuhler, a dowser, will show us that art!
